Under the framework agreements, gasoline and diesel cars and light trucks will get cleaner through 2026 at about the same rate as the former Obama-era program. In his State of the Union (SOTU) address Tuesday night, President Barack Obama announced the launch of talks on a comprehensive Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership with the European Union.
