Ford announced its exit from the Indian market back in 2021 owing to poor sales resulting in a loss of $2 billion here and eventually completed the exit process in 2022. Ford’s exit from India created quite a ruckus in the country’s automotive market as well as in the country’s business community.

Now I believe the entire automobile industry is in such a phase because the recent influx of electric vehicles into our roads is making our roads quieter a lot quieter than we anticipated. Audi, Ford and Jaguar are few to name who has taken this path. For me, the noise of the moving vehicle was the primary sign that I am moving.

If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? Sorry the market killed the EV1. you see that?
