If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. needs to have an indigenous automobile industry, and not merely "transplants".
