During a driving event at the Miramas proving grounds in southern France, BMW presented future drive technologies, including the prototype of a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid drive. combustion engine, high-voltage generator and road-linked all-wheel drive via an electric drive system at the rear axle.
