at least, the recycling infrastructure for the well-established lead-acid batteries is robust. lead-acid batteries have a far better recycling rate than even aluminum bottles — over 90% of lead-acid batteries are recycled. None of the new electric cars are planning to use old-tech lead acid batteries.

" President Obamas auto task force doesnt see it that way. We should be concentrating on eliminating the hoggiest of the hogs by hybridizing them or reducing their acceleration which BY ITSELF reduces consumption since it leads drivers to unlearn stop and go driving, instead timing arrival at lights to when they are green.
