CCTV reports that the Haw Tai Motor Plant, China’s largest Euro-5 diesel engine plant, has gone into production in Inner Mongolia. It’s China’s first clean diesel engine for autos. Use of exhaust gas recirculation to improve the quality of exhaust emissions. Use of a belt transmission, and dual overhead cam system.
