Plugin electric vehicles saw strong year on year growth in market share in Sweden, taking 61.9% share, with plugin hybrids slightly losing share YoY. Overall auto volume was 28,492 units, up some 8% YoY, though year to date volume remains some 5% down compared to 2022. May’s combined plugin result of 61.9% in May 2022.

The UK car market saw plugin electric vehicles take 21.9% Overall auto volume was 132,990 units, up 11.6% April’s combined plugin result of 21.9% plugin hybrids (PHEVs). Most of the auto market’s volume growth, in fact, came from plugins. share of sales in April 2023, up from 16.2% year on year.

Overall auto volume was 280,047 units, up 24.7% The Tesla Model Y was the best selling BEV in June, and third best seller of any auto. With combined plugin EVs at 24.6% share in Germany, down from 26.0%
