Its DMO super hybrid off-road platform, used for the Fang Cheng Bao Bao 5, is designed for off-road PHEVs.

Geo renamed the Nova as the Geo Prizm and added other models jointly produced with Isuzu and Suzuki in North America and Japan, but separated them from its “American” cars. Mercedes is starting to roll out its EQ line and Audi already offers is expanding its E-Tron lineup. An EV appears in a sub-brand, but not really part of it.

In its first year on sale the Polestar 2 outsold the Audi A4/A5, Lexus ES, Mazda6, Skoda Octavia, Volkswagen Passat and Hyundai Sonata. Conversely, big guns such as Toyota, Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Isuzu and Subaru didn’t sell a single EV between them – and Ford logged one of its upcoming E-Transits as sold in 2022. EVs are sold.
