The new metric gives fleet owners, operators, municipalities, and policymakers a direct apples-to-apples comparison between gasoline or diesel fuel and electricity pricing. For both light duty and buses, AMPLY found Atlanta’s DPGe for fleet vehicles to be $1.85. San Francisco, conversely, has extreme time-variable rates.
