GM taps LG for Volt Battery

GM has been saying for a while now that they had picked their supplier for the LiIon battery in the Volt, but they weren’t prepared to announce who it was. From what I’m reading, there’s a lot of battery production coming on line in the next 12 months in Asia and Europe. that got the nod. and complete the circle.
