Area of Interest (AOI) 2: Grid Modernization for Electric Vehicles. The objective of AOI 2 is to research, develop, and demonstrate plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) technologies that enable efficient grid integration. This AOI will help promote the use of PEVs to reduce dependence on petroleum and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
