Alternative-fuel cars were some of the hottest items on display at the Shanghai auto show from homegrown companies like Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd., Those prices are much lower than that of General Motors Corp.s and Korean golf cart maker CT&T Co. Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co. in late 2010.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is building fleet charging stations in Portland and Phoenix. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. We have those…they are readily available in our own domestic fleet. Electric cars a still a joke. aren’t there yet.
