When Clean Fleet Report first reviewed the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid in 2017, it was the only electrified minivan on the market. The Environmental Protection Agency rates fuel economy at 30 mpg highway and combined in hybrid mode, with an impressive 84 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) that measures the pure electric mode.

In 464 miles driving through Southern California, Clean Fleet Report achieved a combined 38.8 mpg, with a breakdown of 174 all-electric and 290 hybrid miles. Clean Fleet Report perks up when we hear about a vehicle not known for getting good fuel economy being reimagined to be more efficient and easier on the environment at the same time. The system, with a total of 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque, is EPA city and highway combined rated at 20 mpg with the gasoline engine only.
