Honda plans to introduce these models to the North American market as model year 2024 vehicles, one from Honda brand and the other from the Acura brand. Our limited time behind the wheel was on city streets with no corners to attack, which is perfectly fine as Honda is not marketing the e:FCEV as a sport SUV. With a home charger and solar panels, the cost to charge an EV would be even less. That comparas to the 270 AER of the CR-V e:FCEV.

It’s a truck, specifically the Escalade SUV, the gussied-up, very successful ultra-luxury version of the Chevy Suburban. Ultimately, GM will build Ultium-based EVs in North America for its four existing brands (Cadillac, GMC, Buick and Chevrolet) plus one model each for Honda and Acura.
