BMW to introduce BMW 530e iPerformance plug-in hybrid at Detroit show

The 2018 BMW 5 Series iPerformance will be available at US dealers in spring 2017. The BMW eDrive system’s electric motor has an output of 95 hp (70 kW) and offers maximum torque of 184 lb-ft (250 N·m), while the 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo combustion engine with its 2.0-liter Pricing will be announced closer to market launch.
