In July, GM issued a warning to 2017-2019 model year Chevrolet Bolt EV owners, stating a potential risk of fires had been reported after some owners had reported their vehicles had spontaneously blazed. All recalled vehicles on dealer lots will need to have battery packs replaced before they can be sold or returned to customers.

GM’s signature EV now is the Chevrolet Bolt EV , another new name, which arrived as a 2017 model and promptly won Motor Trend ’s Car of the Year award. Rivian will be delivering all-electric pickups and SUVs very soon. I’m hoping for the latter.
