GM’s signature EV now is the Chevrolet Bolt EV , another new name, which arrived as a 2017 model and promptly won Motor Trend ’s Car of the Year award. Next up will be the ID.Buzz electric minivan. Not easy or cheap, but it has worked so far. GM, shifting focus to pure EVs, built the last Volt on February 19, 2019.

Iconic design, two-tone paint, three rows, AWD; whatever you call it, the Buzz won’t be cheap. The 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz electric minivan has been coming to North America for a long, long time. The concept for an all-EV reboot of the classic Type 2 Microbus appeared in 2016 and was confirmed for production in August 2017.
