Arizona now permits sale of isobutanol-blended gasoline for on-road vehicles

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey recently signed bill HB2368 , enabling the retail sale of isobutanol-blended gasoline for on-road vehicles. The bill permits isobutanol to be used as an oxygenate in gasoline for on-road vehicles in Arizona. The new law takes effect in August 2017. The new law takes effect in August 2017.

E.ON to provide 10MW battery storage unit to Tucson Electric

Climate & Renewables North America, LLC (E.ON) signed an agreement with Tucson Electric Power (TEP) to provide frequency response and voltage control from a grid-scale, 10 megawatt (MW) battery energy storage facility with a 2 MW solar array.
