Alcoa completes acquisition of RTI International Metals, expands titanium capabilities

Alcoa recently completed the acquisition of RTI International Metals, Inc., Projections for 2016 and 2017 sales growth have nearly doubled to 8 and 13%, from 4 to 5% and 6%, respectively, showing the ongoing strength of the sector. The merger was announced 9 March. Alcoa expects global aerospace sales growth of 8 to 9% in 2015.

Argonne and NGO Energy Vision case studies demonstrate success of renewable natural gas as transport fuel

Renewable natural gas production for transportation totaled 151 million gasoline gallon equivalents in 2017, up from 125M GGEs in 2016 and 90M GGEs in 2015. Navistar to end production of proprietary medium-duty 9/10-liter diesel engine by 2018
