Japanese car makers pour praise on Obama

On Tuesday Obama announced rules that will bring new cars and trucks sold in the USA to an average of 35.5miles per gallon by 2016 - around 10mpg above today’s standards. Passenger cars will need to reach 39mpg while light trucks must hit 30mpg.
