A new study by a team from the University of Pennsylvania and MIT suggests it will be easier for cities to reduce CO 2 emissions coming from residential energy use rather than from local transportation. In transportation, cities can’t make up for the loss of a national strategy. a rapid electrification of the automobile fleet.
