Volvo has received an order for 11 electric hybrid buses and 2 ABB automated electric bus fast-chargers to the city of Namur in Belgium with public transport authority and operator TEC. Start in-service is planned towards the end of 2016. This is the largest order to date for the company’s electric bus system. ABB bus chargers.

In 2016, the Keolis Group launched a trial of the first autonomous vehicles in Lyon, France. Since then, it has operated autonomous vehicles in Australia, Belgium, Canada, the US and the UK, carrying 200,000 passengers and covering more than 100,000 km. Telia is providing 5G connectivity in collaboration with Ericsson.

Starting in 2016, the Swedish brand has included plug-in hybrid versions of pretty much every new vehicle it sells in the US. . It’s called the XC40 Recharge, and the earliest versions aren’t cheap, priced from about $55,000 including delivery. My quick road test revealed both pros and cons of the XC40 Recharge.
