Last week, as part of the little known and unadvertised “Bolt Buyback” program GM quietly created in response to the recall of all their 2017- 2019 Bolts, Chevy paid $37,900 to buy this car back from us. The first Bolt displayed at the annual National Drive Electric Event in 2016 in Los Angeles. The Bolt debuts at the 2016 LA Car Show.

The EV maker opened an office in Santa Clara, CA, in Silicon Valley, in 2016 under the name SF Motors. Most recently, he has held various positions at Karma and Fisker , two EV startups with Chinese owners, albeit radically different types of Chinese owners.
