Toyota Transport begins operating first CNG-fueled car hauler

The Long Beach, CA-based truck/trailer emits 85% less overall particulate matter and 10% less carbon dioxide than its diesel counterparts. The CNG truck was commissioned by Toyota and designed and built in a joint collaboration with Peterbilt and Cottrell, Inc., Most of its car hauler trucks average more than 100,000 miles per year.

Level 2 electric vehicle charging systems use 208-240 volt power, and typically provide 10 to 20 miles of range for each hour of charging for a passenger vehicle.
