TCEP will begin delivering CO 2 to Whiting when the plant commences operations in late 2014 or early 2015; construction is scheduled to begin at the end of this year. Captured CO2 will be further cleaned and compressed, and then transported by pipeline to an existing regional CO 2 pipeline or, potentially, to a nearby EOR field.
