The Honda Civic is a renowned gas-sipper in the compact car market and the latest iteration of the hybrid model is no exception. For 2015, the Civic Hybrid continues the 2014 car''s gas mileage of 45 mpg combined (44 mpg city, 47 mpg highway), itself an improvement on the 2013 model''s 44 mpg all-round.

I thought my 2013 C-MAX would be a Prius Killer? Based on the advertised EPA estimates, I would have been OK with low 40’s.but 28-33 mpg is not even in the ballpark. Ford’s “47MPG” marketing campaign tarnished what should have been the roll-out of a truly remarkable vehicle, the CMAX. Maybe it was the rush to go to market?
