Two German investors, Ingo Voigt and Fritz Nol, announced their intent to buy Fisker Automotive, the failing plug-in hybrid car company, on 11 September. It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. Considering how much GM plugs we do 80% of our driving in the city, those highway miles dont get much use.
