I love the idea of powering my car from solar power. Photovoltaic arrays belong on stationary rooftops -- which is an excellent way to drive on solar power (roof > house > car). Honda Insight, Civic and Accord use an entirely different design: the electric motor never runs without the gasoline engine running at the same time.
