Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. Only PHEVs and battery EVs get cleaner as they get older - because the electric grid gets cleaner every decade. CalCars produced the worlds first plug-in Prius (the PRIUS+) in 2004.

The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. Depending upon where you live, power plants are often burning natural resources.
