iMiEV Mitsubishi Innovative Electric Vehicle by Noel Adams Mitsubishi has been showing a number of electric cars at auto shows starting in Tokyo back in 2005, they didnt show the most recent iteration, the one that will be the production version, until the 2007 Frankfurt Auto show. The cars are also being fleet tested in Japan.

O’Brien and Toyota sounded a more cautious note than Brian Verprauskus from Nissan, who discussed Nissan’s LEAF vehicle and program; David Patterson from Mitsubishi on the i-MiEV; and JB Straubel from Tesla Motors. Tesla has its EVs in the market, Nissan and Mitsubishi are poised to enter their EVs in the US soon. Michael O’Brien.
