EEA Report: Trends in European Transport Are Heading in the Wrong Direction

Nissan Updates on Nissan Green Program 2010; New Vehicle CO2 Needs to Be Reduced 90% by 2050

Along with the mid-term NGP 2010 plan, originally announced in December 2006, Nissan is reviewing its long-term CO 2 emissions-reduction scenarios. According to the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), global CO 2 concentration in the atmosphere should be stabilized below 450 ppm, Nissan noted.
