While DoD and the services will have access to the wholesale fuel supplies they require, the purchase price may be uncomfortably high. Notable examples of nations where security shortfalls are significantly impeding investment and production are Nigeria; Iraq; Sudan; and, most recently, Libya. Could oil production peak after 2050?
