Porsche is planning to set up its own fast-charging stations offering a premium charging experience along Europe’s most important routes. As a pilot site, the first Porsche Charging Lounge has opened outside Bingen am Rhein. Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

In 2014 we have been competitive immediately with the most complex and innovative race car Porsche has built so far. This is why we will take on the challenge with three Porsche 919 Hybrids in 2015.

The chargers are to be rolled out in 24 countries by the end of 2020 as part of the second phase of the IONITY network expansion. IONITY, a joint venture of BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company, as well as the Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche, has to date opened 202 charging sites across 18 European markets.
