As of May 2013, Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF) will start building its successful Toyota Yaris compact car for export to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. —Toyota Motor Europe President and CEO Didier Leroy. The annual export volume is planned to be around 25,000 units.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF) has started production of the Toyota Yaris compact car for export to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Toyota Yaris became the first vehicle ever produced in France to be certified with the new “French Origin Guaranteed” (“Origine France Garantie”) label.

Toyota is establishing a new headquarters in North Dallas (Plano), Texas for its North American operations. Within the next three years, Toyota’s three separate North American headquarters for manufacturing (Erlanger, KY); sales and marketing (Torrance, CA); and corporate operations (New York, NY) will relocate to a single campus in Plano.
