Ah NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery pack is located under the rear load area floor, near the electric motor. In the medium term, said Peugeot, NiMH remains the most suitable technology, in terms of cost and manufacture, for vehicles produced in significant volumes. Sanyo provided its expertise on the NiMH high voltage batteries.
