Nicole Macri (D-Seattle) as HB 1204, the bill is now the first LDV combustion-engine phaseout target to be passed through the legislative process. The legislation defines “electric vehicles” as vehicles that use energy stored in rechargeable battery packs or in hydrogen and which rely solely on electric motors for propulsion.

The stations will allow the fleets to lower their costs by buying fuel in bulk, access federal motor fuel excise tax credits, refuel at the times most convenient to their schedules, and model successful use of propane to nearby peers. To support the vehicles, 35 propane refueling stations will be constructed.
