The acceleration was significantly better than my RAV, no doubt due to the Li-Ion battery pack weighing about 400-500 lbs less than the Toyota’s NiMH pack. The federal tax credit is $7,500, and here in California, we’ll probably get another $5,000 off state taxes. No mistaking it, this is a test car.
