GE Transportation introduced the newest line of fuel efficient and low emissions Evolution Series locomotives, the Model ES44C4. GE’s new AC motors have fewer parts to maintain and eliminate the electrical problems that hamper DC motors. GE Transportation recently celebrated the delivery of its 3,000 th Evolution Locomotive.

In Shanghai, Zeekr signed commitments with the AW Rostamani Workforce of the United Arab Emirates, the Wallan Workforce of Saudi Arabia, the Blue Pond Motors of Qatar, and the Y.Okay. Up to now, Zeekr has entered Eu markets in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany, and signed commitments with companions in Israel and Kazakhstan.

GE Transportation engaged a nationally recognized independent research laboratory to conduct the Tier 2 locomotive fuel consumption testing. Earlier in May, GE Transportation introduced its newest Evolution Series locomotives, the Model ES44C4. The lab conducted the tests in late January and early February 2009.
