EV Project on Reunion Island

The idea behind the project is to demonstrate that the overall CO 2 performance of the electric vehicles in Reunion is superior to that of today’s thermal combustion and hybrid vehicles. Reunion island lies 800 km (497 miles) east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean, and has an area of 2,512 square kilometers (970 square miles).

Roskill: graphite prices could push higher on tightening markets for batteries & electrodes

Roskill forecasts that global sales of EVs and hybrid vehicles will increase rapidly in the coming years and could account for 69% of all motor vehicle sales by 2027. Rising flake graphite prices spur new development outside of China. Other projects are also planned in Austria, Canada, India, Russia and the US.
