EPA fuel economy report finds weight and power leveling off, footprint stable

The report is the authoritative reference for real-world fuel economy, technology trends and tailpipe carbon dioxide emissions, for new personal vehicles sold in the US every year since 1975. The average 0-to-60 mph acceleration time was the same in MY 2016 as MY 2015. EPA will not have final MY 2017 data until next year’s report.
