Honda cuts US lease price for Fit EV to $259/mo

In the US, Honda has cut the lease price for the Fit EV in the US to $259 a month beginning 1 June, down from $389 a month. The new three-year lease includes no down payment, unlimited mileage, routine maintenance, collision coverage and 240 volt EV home charging station equipment (not including installation) from Leviton.

They found that hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles (especially electric cars) easily saved their owners money when looking at the purchase price, fuel costs and regular maintenance. On the other hand, the Honda Civic costs its owners, on average, about $350 a month. Battery lifespans are still being calculated.
