DOE Awarding $4.4M to Six Projects for Carbon Capture and Conversion

The projects are located in North Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, and Quebec, Canada (through collaboration with a company based in Lexington, Ky.). Investigators will develop and demonstrate an electrochemical process using a light-harvesting CO 2 catalyst to reform CO 2 into products such as methane gas.
