Mercedes-Benz’ EQS—the all-electric member in the new S-Class range—will arrive on the market next year. The EQS is the first to use the new electric architecture for electric vehicles of the luxury and executive segment at Mercedes-Benz. Test drives are currently also being conducted in China and the US.

Further investment also goes to the Rastatt compact car plant, where the fully-electric B-Class electric drive has been seamlessly integrated into series product. Another €1 billion go to the Untertürkheim core plant, amongst others for the expansion of engine production. Mercedes-Benz sales top one million mark in August.
