Ford Motor Company has added Hong Kong to the list of global cities served by its Transit Connect Taxi, among them New York City, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles. The Transit Connect Taxi Ford unveiled in Hong Kong comes equipped with a Ford-engineered, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel system.

Parker Hannifin Corporation, in partnership with Autocar, delivered hydraulic hybrid refuse vehicles to three South Florida municipalities ( earlier post ): City of Miami, the City of Hialeah, and Miami-Dade County. Hydraulic hybrid technology represents a breakthrough in efforts to reduce fuel use and pollution from these vehicles.

The Florida communities of Hialeah, Miami-Dade County, and the City of Miami are purchasing 11 Autocar E3 refuse trucks fitted with parker Hannifin’s RunWise hydraulic hybrid technology.
