Peter Roach, Birmingham, UK Nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries powered the late GM EV1 and still power hundreds of Toyota RAV4 EVs, some over 100,000 miles. Hugh E Webber, Orlando, Florida, USA I think I have the solution to the ultra-green machine. These both cost much less than lithium cells.
