In Department of Energy fuel economy tests, in short-trip city driving, a conventional gasoline car’s gas mileage is about 12 percent lower at 20 degrees Fahrenheit than it would be at 77 degrees Fahrenheit and can drop as much as 22 percent for very short trips of around 3 to 4 miles. The Standard Range has a driving range of 240 miles, while the RWD gets either 305 and 361 miles depending if shod with 20-inch or 18-inch tires. The AWD driving range is 316 miles with the 18-inch tire and 270 miles with 20-inch tires. The 361-mile all-electric driving range is very appealing in the RWD model.
