A123 Systems has entered a battery supply agreement with Fisker Automotive to supply battery systems for the Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). The multi-year agreement provides that A123 is the selected battery system supplier for the Fisker Karma. Project Nina is expected to launch in 2012. Investment.

Kia had its Soul EV on the market and made its presence known, then added the Niro EV (and PHEV & Hybrid), but now is adding the EV6 crossover. Road Test: 2021 RAV4 Prime PHEV ; Flash Drive: 2021 Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle. Henrik Fisker has vowed to return with his own California-themed model under his own name.

The Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) ( earlier post ) will make its public driving debut during the Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races on 15 August, 19 months after being unveiled as a concept car. It will be the first time a PHEV has appeared on track at the event. 260 hp (194 kW) Ecotec engine from GM.

I write a monthly column for the Electric Auto Association newsletter, Current EVents. nk, Fisker and Aptera, for example, would get cars on the road and allow the plug-in project the chance to more quickly advance to economic viability without the legacy burdens carried by the majors.
