The 2011 start date has been chosen to coincide with theexpected introduction of a wider variety of electric and plug-in hybrid carsin Britain. Hence thedevelopment of a plug-in Prius, which will operate most of the time onelectricity and produce less carbon dioxide. Is it becuase US market prefers a "home" product?
