Tesla Insurance is gearing up for a potential launch in Europe, as the company is seeking Legal Counsel specializing in insurance for the market. Tesla originally established its Insurance business in Europe by opening a branch in Malta in December 2020. This change occurred in March 2022.

Thus, in 2013 the European Union fleet already collectively met its legal target for 2015. People in Malta, Denmark and Greece bought the lightest models on average.

For the first time, preliminary data recently reported to the EEA by Member States allow a comparison with the legally binding emission limits for 2010 set in the EU NEC Directive. The EEA data shows that many EU Member States missed the 2010 limits, so these countries will need to make further efforts to help reduce air pollution in Europe.
