Other than sports car wanna-bes, modern cars are so quiet that you hear tire/wind noise much more than engines. Reply ↓ ↑ report 3 Snowdog 6:22PM (4/17/2009) Totally agree. I have stated the same before. If they force noice makers on Hybrids and EVs, this will be yet another break down in common sense.

Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. Since most families have at least two cars now, I foresee an electric commuter car and an ICE road trip car (you know, an Escalade or Dodge Ram crew cab ;o) in the future. forgot.water and electricity dont mix well.
